For more than twenty years I have stood behind a pharmacy counter. I graduated from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and spent my career with Walgreens, Target, and Kroger, holding leadership roles and, more to the point, getting to know the families who walked in every month. I learned their names, their kids' names, and which of them were quietly struggling.

I also learned the limits of the job. I could tell you exactly what your medication did and what to watch for. I could not tell you why you still felt terrible. That question sat with me for years before it turned personal.

In 2020 I was the patient. I was tired in a way that sleep did not fix, my weight would not move no matter what I tried, and I was dealing with insulin resistance. Working through a structured metabolic reset, I lost 46 pounds and reversed it. What surprised me was not the number on the scale. It was the energy. I could keep up with my four boys again.

That is why I created ThriveRx. I wanted a pharmacy where you are known by name, listened to with compassion, and actually supported on the way to better health, rather than handed a bag and a receipt. So the coaching and the testing sit alongside the prescriptions here, because in my experience you cannot separate them.

When I am not in the pharmacy you will usually find me with my husband and our four busy boys, cheering them on through whatever they have signed up for this season. I have loved animals and horses my whole life, and a morning at the barn is still how I recharge.
